Assignment and Directions for Quizzes and Other Assignments

General guidelines:  You do not need to rewrite the question; if the question asks for lists, use a list format, not paragraphs with commas.  The following is a list format (which you should read).

--Use lists instead of paragraphs or long sentences

--Answers can be in phrases rather than sentences.

--You may also save this document and enter the answers in between the questions.  This is not required, but is very helpful.

--Submit only the assignments listed on each page per e-mail.

--You will receive a response that either says: “Assignment # __ complete   OR if corrections are needed, they will be indicated in the response.

--Reply to the response with the corrections; do not create a new e-mail for the corrections.

Assignment and Directions for Writing Assignments

--A cover page with your name, the title of your assignment, type of writing, and the date.

--Single spacing

--No indented paragraphs; double space between paragraphs

Formatting Help -- Video Lessons (accessed through a Vimeo link)

How to Use Vimeo: Click the links on the Assignment page for each lesson.  If the link shows yellow or any other color, click on it and the link will turn red, which you should click to get to the video lesson.

To get a larger screen, which will make viewing easier, click on the link below the video or click on the "four arrows" in he lower right hand corner of the video itself.  You can adjust the audio (probably highest volume) on your computer or on the video screen.

Pause your video whenever you need to take notes or get a "screen shot" of the information.  You can watch them again if you forget something.  When the video starts, move the cursor away from the video so you can see the whole screen.

Note:  You can watch the video on your smart phone or tablet if you download the free Vimeo app, but the screen size is not ideal for some of the text in the video lessons.

Always scroll to the bottom of pages in the website.

A.I.  (Artificial Intelligence)

We live in an interesting new world, where A.I. can be used to create all kinds of things, including writing.

A.I. can also determine if a document is written by A.I., in which case, an artificial grade will be received.
